SilkPlay does not collect, store, or share any personal data. All processing — video playback, frame interpolation, upscaling — happens entirely on your device. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of its own.

Playback preferences (settings, resume positions, subtitle choices) and purchase/trial status are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.
SilkPlay offers a single optional one-time purchase, processed entirely by Google Play's billing system. We never see or store your payment details. Google's handling of payment data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
SilkPlay is a general-purpose utility intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. Since no data is collected, no children's data is collected either.
If a future version ever changes these practices (for example, adding optional crash reporting), this policy will be updated here and the app's Play Store data safety section will be revised before release.
